The throughline
One thread, followed all the way through.
That throughline runs from advocacy work in medical school, through outreach roles re-engaging people living with HIV back into care, to where I am now: finishing my last year of residency in Public Health & Preventive Medicine.
Today I practice at San Francisco Community Health Center, an FQHC where most of my patients are on PrEP or HIV treatment. I built the clinical workflow we use to keep patients on track with long-acting injectable PrEP and HIV therapy, and I stay current across the whole PrEP landscape — from daily oral options to newer ones like Yeztugo and Apretude.
I believe PrEP is our clearest path to ending new HIV transmissions. As I wrap up residency, I'm looking for where I can keep having that kind of direct impact at a bigger scale.

Locating and reconnecting HIV-positive clients who had fallen out of care — by phone, text, social media, and direct outreach — and, later, standing up COVID case-investigation technology at population scale.
